You are walking down a set of stairs. The ceiling over the staircase is very low and anyone human-height or taller will have to duck their heads as they pass under it.
At the bottom of the stairs is a dimly-lit room. There are four small windows close to the top of the walls. There is no ceiling; beams and wires hang low over your heads.
Directly across from you is a kegerator. To the left of that is a dartboard. To the right is a stereo. To your left, against the wall, is a futon opened up with rumpled sheets. In front of it is a table covered with ashtrays, lighters, beer caps, and strange odds and ends. To your right is a work area filled with tools.
